Not saying you are mediocre, I have no idea about your skills, but you have 908 posts here, so I'm guessing you are using Revit for a while already and are better then mediocre.
But young guys (or girls) right from school with just the school learned Revit skills will get a job pretty quick these days in Holland.

yes, sorry if I didn't write it down well!! you are not saying that certainly, I'm not mad at you!! sometimes to elaborate correct sentences is very hard for a non native English speaker which lives in France, I've got what you are saying!!, well since I've decided to live here in France in lieu of my fatherland I guess I'l try to get another job and if that doesn't work i'll take a look to move to your beautiful country, By the way I've been in Rotterdam and I found it very nice!!

Yup. Let the AutoCAD dinosaurs die off as Revit and VR puts them out of business in the next few years.

You're a European, so what is the problem?
And Holland is pretty international, but English will get you a lot further than French.
Says a Dutchman working in France :-)

We hired on a guy here that is my age...we both learned Autocad around the same time back in the DOS days. I moved on to CATIA, ArchiCAD then Revit, he stayed with Autocad. Been introducing him to Revit cold turkey and so far he really likes it. He questions some stuff, but instead of asking if something can just be done in Autocad he asks how can we get Revit to do it?

Back when DIMVARS caused more wailing and gnashing of teeth than paperspace did

Not yet!! I'm from Colombia, I have no problem with change country but paperwork is very complicated for us, but I'm not done yet!! I'll fight!!

By the way I've found this UK company which seems to have a solution to this issue, I'll try to test if that works

    Don't worry about it
And indeed Rotterdam is a nice place even though all tourist just know Amsterdam (and I for one want to keep it that way). It is a booming city with lots of new cool buildings and new bars and restaurants popping up all the time. So if you are ever here again let me know and we can get a cup of coffee or a beer or 2.

Nothing about that addin, solves this problem. Those are standard Revit CAD exports, and your boss will hate them.

I dont hate AutoCAD, contrary to popular misconception. Good AutoCAD files that are set up correctly are works of art, in their own right. But what comes out of Revit for AutoCAD is no more valuable than a cursory background. They are TERRIBLE working files.
