What it sounds like she is after, is a DWG set of the project that is actually assembed in AutoCAD, the way we used to do projects in AutoCAD: One Base, multiple viewports, and multiple sheets.

Revit is NEVER going to create that for you, even with Dynamo.

Any way that you tell Revit to export two plans to CAD, they are coming out with duplicate data, because the concept of XREF doesnt work the same in a Revit made CAD export, and a native AutoCAD File.

If she is that hell bent on getting USEABLE files in DWG, the job needs to be done in AutoCAD, or redone in autocad after the fact.

Man, talk about someone with blinders on. I'm not sure I could handle that. How is it that your company is even paying for Revit seats if she thinks it's so bad?

Well actually that's a very good point, we have here 3 Projects Chiefs which are trained in basic Revit, problem is that they argue that they don't have the time to continue to learn so the drafter are stuck in a kind of limbo because if the Chief don't want to do nothing with revit so the drafter cant do more.

So we have 3 Project Chiefs that don't open revit even to try to do a basic operation, 4 Drafters which want to work with revit but can do nothing abut it, 1 BIM manager (Me ) whom is doing all he can to push this up but with no luck.

Just to give you more clues about my problem here, last week I was asked to do some Facades in Photoshop, I've started to do those facades in ACAD since I consider that is the tool to draw facades and since she realized he wasn't "drawing" with photoshop that drove her crazy!! I just reply to her argument by saying that acad is the tool to draw facades and photoshop is to modify photos!!

just for the record. Dynamo WILL do what I described, but not what Aaron said as something like a truly autocad workflow. Brains trust enabled

Not sure how the construction market is in France, but here in Holland, a mediocre Revit guy will have a new job within a week I think, with a large contractor for example and will get extra educated by that contractor to become a good Revit guy. If you are already good you can most likely name your price
