    Schedules for Linked Revit Models

I have got a site with several linked Revit Models. Some of the models have been copied around the site.

I want to schedule the foundations and so far not having much luck! I have modelled the foundations in the Revit model at a level of -675mm from Floor Level which is at 0. I have then linked this model into a site model (the one I am trying to schedule from) which is set up to the correct Easting, Northings & Levels. I have put the models at the correct levels and copied them around where required.

The schedule is taking the level at -675mm and not the level I have e.g 82.000m. I.e it's taking the model's level rather than the position within the site.

    Any ideas?

Unless you use shared coordinates to push the correct elevations back to the building (and use multiple Named Places for different locations on site) it's always going to be that way.

It's doing exactly what it's supposed to do. It just isn't what you were hoping for.

It's fixable, you have have to push coords for all the different site locations back to the linked model.

Thanks. I did assume (which is always wrong!) that if I published the shared coordinates to a revit model inserted then copied it wouldn't work. Alas! It works fine!

    Thanks!

I spoke a little too soon.

I have several parameters in the link that I want as instance parameters. E.g - Plot Number etc. I have tried following this link to combine parameters however the combined parameter remains 'read only' and I cannot change it.

    Any ideas?

I am now thinking that I will have to do this via multiple schedules and 'stack' them on the sheet.
