Well I'm disappointed to report that 2020 continues to have this same issue. Docked dialog boxes jump around all over the place every time a project is opened (grows), or when 2 projects are open and one is closed (shrinks way down).

Yep, same here - right side docked Project Browser shrinks in width seemingly randomly after closing a project and opening another.

Revit remembers the window width - closing a project with a shrunken right window width and shutting down Revit 2020, then restart and load another project the window width on the right of screen is as it should be.
However loading the project that was saved when the shrunken window width occurred, it loads with that shrunken window width on the right of screen just as it was saved.

Weird - and disappointing as Patrick says that it has not been sorted.

My Properties and Project Browser windows are on my opposite screen and they get moved around so much that I never even notice on whether they are changing widths or not.

Oh...I should mention I do not Maximize my primary Revit window. It is maximized manually and so far never changes. I was having weird graphic issues when it was maximized clicking the window toggle.

That's an idea MPw - not maximising - I'll try that, thanks

I had issues with 2018 "bleeding" over onto my 2nd screen when it was fully maximized. However with 2019 that behavior appears to have been fixed.

We skipped 2018...so had issues with 2017 and 2019. Still don't have 2020.

Just for the record I've tried working without maximising the main Revit 2019 window and it makes no difference to the width of the Project Browser window if docked on the right of the screen as it still shrinks when switching between projects at odd times.

Just recently I found that dragging a Revit window onto another monitor had stopped working. The only change to my system has been allowing the latest Windows 10 updates to install and also updating the Nvidia Quadro and Geforce drivers to Enscape's latest recommendations (Geforce card just for rendering).

It turned out that the dual displays were slightly misaligned when viewed in Nvidia Control Panel - never seen that before. Dragged them back into alignment and all working again.

At the Autodesk Revit 2020 webinar last week I asked about this issue. They said to send in a ticket and check your windows settings. I interpreted that as they have no idea blame somebody else

It's a Revit issue. Has nothing to do with Windows. It's happening both on my Win7 work machine, other co-workers' Win10 machines, and my home Win10 machine. OS version makes zero difference.

Just want to chime in with support regarding this matter. I like to have properties palette to the left, project browser to the right, the project browser always seems to reset itself and narrows down. Really annoying.
