Rooms being bound by future Phase

Let me preface this with "I know how Rooms and Phases work" and I' agree that it cloud be better.

But in this project, the Rooms are not working the way I'm used to.
I've got 3 Phases in this project
    • Existing
    • Phase 1
    • Phase 2

My problem is that I've got View that show the Rooms from Phase 1, but they are being bound by the Walls in Phase 2
That's not supposed to happen. According to this Autodesk KB article
    https://knowledge.autodesk.com/suppo...4B86E-htm.html
Revit ignores any room-bounding elements that do not exist in the active phase in which you are working.
That's what I expect, and what I'm used to.
But on this project, my Rooms are in Phase 1, but their Boundaries are the walls from Phase 2
Here's a View set to Phase 1 with the Filter set to New Only

And here's the same View (same Rooms)with the Filter set to None

The Rooms are in Phase 1 and the Walls are in Phase 2. They are not supposed to be Bounding those Rooms Revit isn't supposed to look in the Future!

Nobody ever answered me, so I'll answer myself.
Turns out what I thought was Future Walls wer actually on a different Workset & that Workset was set to Not Visible in all Views.
But even weirder, even if I Specify Worksets at file ope, and Close that wotkset, the Elements in that Closed Workset still act as Room Boundaries.
Even though you can't see them anywhere.
Since they are on a Closed Workset, I would expect Revit to act as though they don't exist at all, but I guess Rooms are special and still track elements that you can't see.

Just in case anyone (like me) ever searches for a similar problem in the future & finds this thread, there's the answer!

Turns out the project team didn't even know why that was there.
