Section Call outs on Plans - how to make the tail same size globally

When drafting sections on a plan view, sometimes I wont have the option to copy and paste a section to another level. Is there a way to make all my sections the same size, similar to a block (something that can make them all/most consistent)? Sometimes they vary lengths and it can look sloppy.

Thank you + Happy New Year : )

I usually have a reference plane at a certain distance from the building, and use that to align the section markers from level to level. They won't Snap though, so you´ll have to drag the blue dot as close to the reference plane as possible.
