    We also use a text file to assosciate a code to the keynote identifier of the type, I guess ia a good way to achieve this! regards

    For confidentiality, I use published MSRP prices. The client can shop on the internet if they like, which usually just validates our pricing or is lower, so they have confidence that they won't be surprised.

    We use keynotes on projects already, so this didn't work for us. A good solution though.

    For the low budget project, We can use Revit for cost estimation by adding new parameters while creating a new schedule. For the large scale project, as of my knowledge Excel is best for easy workflow and also it mitigates the errors.
    Usually, in my projects, I Export the schedule as a .txt file type and covert the same into excel.
