    Reconstruction: Phases and Rooms

    Hello,

I'd like use phases in Revit for documentation of reconstruction. In our county is typicall do 3 types of drawings:
    1. CS= Current State ... Initial state of building
    2. DS = Demolition State ... State where is CS and highlit construction for demolition
    3. NS = New State ... View to state after demolition and new costruction to build.

My problem is, how to set up phases to view room from CS in DS, please?
    Thanks for replies and tips

    Hi PepaR

To achieve what you are after, the phase filters would be set as:

    CS - Existing (Show All)
DS - New Construction (Show previous + demo)
NS - New Construction (Show Complete)

    Cheers,

That's because Rooms are Phase specific. You cannot show them in other Phases.
You can do one of these things:

    1. Create a Duplicate View of 01 1NP.CS, Hide everything but the Rooms and use as an overlay on your sheets on top of 02 1.NP.DS
    2. Remove the Demolished Phase and start working with Phase Filters. Create a New Phase Filter which shows Demolished objects as normal and another which shows Demolished objects as Demolished. Although this brings up the problem of Rooms not being defined properly... So you'll need to place some Room Separation Lines there.

    See attached.
