    Question Element pinned and unpinned

Cleaning up elements on worksets and came across some elements that couldn't be moved to a workset from the properties palette. I tried to copy and paste and it warns me that the element needs to be unpinned. Try to go an unpin it and both pin and unpin are greyed out. I can't delete it, I can't copy and paste, I can't revise the workset, audit has been done recently... I'm stumped.

Did you sort this out? It looks like the Make this element Editable icon is visible, click that and then the Pin Icon should appear.

Edit: Wrong, that's the Group icon my mistake. Perhaps it's objecting to an element in the group?

Maybe you had select pinned element turned off.

Yes. The group was on a different workset (which was closed) but the elements in the group were on the open workset.
Opened up both worksets, did a copy/paste in place. Everything is happy now.

Groups are not my forte but getting better.
