Sounds to me like the *Detail/Section* is a Drafting View, and not a Live Section. Theres a lot to be done differently, if thats the case:

    1. Use a modeled Section/Detail
    2. Dont fake dimensions
    3. Be happy.

I seen anyone who asks this go up in flames. I have to ask tho, we in the architecture field do use +/- F.V., CLEAR or Min, Max....all the time for communicating intent. I see I can add these with the prefix. But then again, I set my tolerances as high as they go and sometimes I just want to run the override to up the precision like I could in Autocad. This has bit me when walls all of the sudden arent parallel and wont dimension. So I understand the where the backlash is coming from, but I wish I had a tad more flexibility and control. I get that this is not a 2d line. Totally understood.

FV, CLEAR, MIN, MAX, I don't have any issues with. The OP mentioned inserting a character code for a blank character, which is only required if Revit is trying to stop you from replacing a dimension with a faked dimension value made out of text. Which- in my humble opinion (and at my company)- is literally a fireable offense.

There's no place for that in the profession. There wasn't when I was doing jobs in architecture, either.

    Hello all,

Yes I actually created a Drafting view in which I place a section of the door and the floor plan of it.

The reason why I create a drafting view for the door and I didn't make a 'Live section' is that I have created some 2D details for the doors (the fixe part etc..), so In the model the door that I have place don't match with the doors that I actually want to have.

Tell me if you have to propose me something else.

    Thank you in advance!

A normal section using the section command.

Put the door in that you want instead. If I received a model that was designed the way you are doing this I would be sending it back to you to fix it or hold you liable for any errors in construction.

You mean to have exactly the same door both in detail in floor plan?
My problem is that for the floor plan I don't have this kind of door in 3D.
I have the details only in 2D.

    Thank you for your answers!

Maria, the best option for this is to create a dimension style that makes the text be as small as possible and make it so it sits right on the line. You will have to add text yourself above the line. No cheating the actual dimension with unicode characters, it's like you're just using a family that creates dimensions.
