    university qualification's in useing revit

    hi guys i have completed my course in b.i.m architecture i would like some advice i have passed and all is well, do u think i should get some business cards done and add my qualification on them as well as a user of revit software (not a architect)

    some advice would be helpful

    ok but i can create my own employment not sure if your advice is good but ill keep it in mind.

    of course you can create your own employment and you don't need a business card to do so. What you need is skill at your craft, a good work ethic, a bit of salesmanship, and the willingness to work long hours. If you're good at what you do you will have to work long hours because you'll be in high demand. As far as my advice being good or not, my qualifications to give this advice are 47 years in the business that I'm in including the last 26 years of being self employed. In those 26 years I've never needed a business card...

    That's really so true. My stats are similar to yours re years. My first box of cards from my first firm was sure an ego boost, but I don't think I ever handed out one. In any case, it seems a card rarely if ever brings a job you don't already have.

    thats brilliant advice i will still make business cards prior to what you have said, ;as i have been to university and got a qualification in bim it adds that extra flavour eg it looks good on cv and business card i can create my own employment which i will the business cards are just extra which i will still do prior to what you said
