    You can use filters on any linked element, just use a specific parameter value. Our consultants would rarely have the same parameter data as us.

    Placeholder links work well although i find if you need to reverse or change the effect you gotta dig deeper.

    Either/both setups can live in your project template.

    The thing is, they dont exist ONLY for this function. They do 20 other things, that all add value as well.

    Not disputing this at all. I use placeholder links. I just find linked levels and grids easier to control at the filter level.
