    This. All day. Itís just ridiculous that we think everyone should get a say. Itís not a democracy. Itís as a dictatorship... hopefully a benevolent one.

    To misquote a speech I saw by Slavoj Zizek;

    "Some political philosophers believe we should live in a perfect Democracy, where people are actively involved in decision making and everything is discussed within their community before being decided upon, and so on and so on... No! That would be hell! I dont want to have to argue with my neighbors to get simple things done. For me the perfect system is a benign bureaucracy, driven not by ideology or personal choice but by efficiency. So that you have the freedom to get on with your life without having to think about all the little things that idiots will disagree with you about.."

    Democracy is the brainchild of the consensus theory on truth and reality. Not a fan.

    This was a great thread. I use Arial 0.8 ALL CAPS but now want to change to calibri. It may be too much trouble.

    I follow 30X40 Design Workshop on youtube. Interesting topic and great videography. I appreciate his artistic flair for things.

    You prefer being told what to do by someone who surely knows better than you?

    Do you prefer to be told what to do by a mob of people who think they know better than you?

    I'm Using only two types of fonts which are the classical "Arial Black" and "Century Gothic", but this is most related with the taste of each one when annotating, I prefer Isocpeur o Isocteur but some people didn't like those because are to simple.

    This thread has been going forever.

    I've been looking into switching from arial to calibri and I've noticed that the spacing between lines for calibri is different. It seems like it would make text take up more space even iwth the width reduced.

    Also what exactly happens with arial jumping if it's rotated? I haven't been able to replicate it. Is is about tags on rotated views? If so I've tried it and calbri does it too.

    But what says Arial (narrow or otherwise) is the "standard" by which no more text will be able to fit on documents? Ive been working in Calibri at 1.0 (not reduced) for years now, and all of the text still fits in the details.
