    one SP, align label top left, drag the label length (right side) to intended return position, insert space ( ) in text string. single string will keep going past the label end. not tested in 2012 btw.

    Can you elaborate on this a little bit? Are you saying you insert parentheses "( )" characters in your title block family?

    Agreed. The only time this is really a problem for us (it seems) is when we want to force the sheet title to two lines. Otherwise it's SP's all the way...

    I would just like to add that the sheet name seems to be the exception for those CRTL+M cases.

    sorry. exceptions aside, in a label as in any text block, the spaces between words define the place where a text string in a label returns to the next line, as soon as the text string passes the end of the label box thingy. as for line spacing distance, no options but a separate label, alas.
