Updating content from 2011 to 2012

I am about to begin the process of upgrading our families / content to 2012.

There are a couple of ways I seem to be able to do this.
1.- Use the Content Batch Upgrade Utility Tool from revit
2.-Use the File upgrader from autodesk labs
    (http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/adn_plugins/)

Is one way better than the other, or is there another way I don't know about?

    Thanks.

I use the standard batch upgrade utility. I have two versions of it, one edited to upgrade RVT's instead of RFA's. This year was somewhat of a rarity (every file was upgraded manually), but the standard ones work fine as long as:

    1. You copy the directory somewhere local (no network).
    2. You run it locally.
    3. You then run the backup deleter.
    4. You then copy it to its new home on the network.

We cant run it on the network since the .bats are disabled at the IT level, and running it on networks (at least circa 2010 and 2009) caused all of the new families to be named with long timestamps or something.

Are you guys reading the "readme" file, and unblocking the .zip file?

Many thanks for pointing out the Autodesk Labs add-in.

Works perfectly for me whereas the old standard batch upgrade utility wouldn't.

Thank you all for your comments.
Does anyone have a preference for one over the other? Or are there advantages of one over the other?

    Cheers
