Properties Box and Project Browser Not Clickable

A user in our office is having trouble with his properties box and project browser. They show up, but they aren't clickable. All typical troubleshooting - restarting, resetting UI have been done, but aren't helping. Any thoughts?

I had this happen with my project browser. It was frozen on my second monitor and restarting revit, my computer and toggeling view from toolbar all didn’t fix it. Toggling it via a keyboard shortcut (I had to add one) fixed it. I think I did it one or 2 days in a row, and haven't had the issue for over a month. I'm using Revit 14.

Our IT department did a registry fix, and that seems to have solved the problem.

This has happened to me a couple of times, usually when I have a second session of Revit open. In my case the issue was fixed by changing the hardware acceleration setting.

    FYI...for future searches...

    The registry fix is:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Revit\<revit version with issues>

    to:
    <revit version with issues> backup

Make sure Revit is closed when doing this, else it won't work.
cellophane and Ning Zhou like this.

"Toggling it via a keyboard shortcut (I had to add one)" still fixes this issue in Revit 2017
