This doesn't work for me because I have no frame around my glass, so turning it off won't show the edges.Transparent Glass not transparent in Section View-glass.png The green is the structure, and the glass goes beyond it. We aren't showing how it's attached to the frame yet, but we do have details for it. So the symbolic lines in the family work to show the structure behind the glass in section.

when using show hidden line have you checked what your hidden line styles are set to in Object styles. In example i activate show hidden tool, I first select wall then structural framing -then window then structural framing. The line style is set in the "hidden component", hidden line style.

Ahh... I figured that you where using the symbolic lines for the glass edges (In wich case my suggestion just might work)

I have it set to Hidden lines also, I'm already using that tool in other areas of the project, I'm not sure why it wouldn't work with this skylight. I didn't try to figure it out, I was spending too much time already. BUT now thinking about it, maybe because it's a family? What you show has 3 component/pieces, a wall a window and structural framing. What I have is a skylight family, so it's one piece. That's probably why it won't work. Thanks Mark!
