    renaming levels.

    all,

I am trying to change the names of levels.
so I double clicked on level symbol from elevation view. The name has changed in elevation views but It didn't changed in Browser.
now i am dealing with two different names for one view.

do you know how to make them binded? so when I change the name from elevation it also changes in browser?

    Thanks

It should give you a warning asking you if you want to change the name of the corresponding views. Try clicking on the level in the browser and renaming it there. You can also select a the view and rename it in the properties. All should give you the warning.

Now, if you change the "name on sheet" parameter in the properties, that's only changes how the view is named on the sheet. It doesn't affect the level name.

    i see.
it seems like it needs to be done in browser. but it never asked me when i change the level name from elevation.
it only asked me when i change it from browser.

therefore all my levels in elevations are NOT corresponding with levels in browser.

How do I fix this to make them back to how it is.
it seems like once you lose the bond it doesn't go back.

    Thanks

It asks me whenever I change a level name. No matter where I change it (browser, properties, or a level marker in an elevation). I don't know why yours isn't acting the same way.

I just did a little test that works on my end. To get it back, go to an elevation and rename each level the exact same way it's named in the browser. Then, when you rename it again in the browser it will ask you to change corresponding views. Say yes and it should change the level.

One question, your level marker are blue, right? If not, then you've created a level that's not associated with a floor plan. In that case, it won't have any floor plans shown in the browser at all, and nothing to update.

Just making sure your levels are associated with a plan view.
