    Graphic Overrides for Materials

Does anybody know if there is a way to graphically override the cut pattern of a material for different views? We like to use a solid poche to show the core structure of our walls in plan but in section and details would prefer to not have the same poche at the core.

Create a filter to put in your floor (or section and elevation) view template.

In vg overrides there is a setting to override wall layers as well. Might help with what you wan to achieve. It's near the bottom right corner if the vg overrides dialog.

Using filters was able to accomplish what I was looking for. I was afraid that the filter override would change the fill pattern of the entire wall assembly and not just the core.

Ya, not able to achieve only an override of the core boundary using filters. Any suggestions?

You can't, without parting and filtering parts. Model them separately or part them or get used to seeing them.
