    Variable beam creation

Is there any possibility to create a variable beam.
At one end it should be 20x25cm, and at the other end 30x25cm. (b=25, h=20to30cm).

    Thank you,
    Lucian.

Yes ...you Can...follow the below steps..

    1. File> New> Family
    2. Choose a Structural Framing Template.
    3.Remove the default rectangular mass.
    4.Use a solid Form> Solid Swept Blend
    5.Add a Profile one & assign a parameters (B1 & H1)
    6.Now Add a profile two & Assign a parameters (B2&H2)
    7. Test a family.

Yes, it's a matter of creating a structural framing family in where the extrusion of the beam created from the reference level but from the front/back plane, and is constrained to some reference planes that keep the desired heights constant at each end of the beam.

Thank you very much for the explanation. The problem now is that between the rectangular beams and the sloped one is a tiny space that doesn't fill.

Open the beam family again in the family editor. Go to Modify > Family Category and parameters > Structural Material type > Replace "other" for "Concrete". > Load into project.
