Door not displaying Room information in schedule

I know that there is another thread started with same title but it overall it is the same problem. My problem is more basic that I am missing something in the set up of the schedule. I am also new to Revit and this is my first full blown project.

I have a schedule that will not populate “From Room" and "To Room". I have the rooms and I have walls but a good portion of the walls are linked from structural. In door openings of the linked model, I added generic walls as walls to host the doors to. So I am thinking that this might be the problem However I do have simple offices within that are enclosed by my walls that I have added to the my model. The client wants this information of course.

And of course I can not manually input the data.

I don't deal with scheduling doors as you do but the first thing that came to my mind was: did you check the Include elements in linked files checkbox on the Fields tab of your schedule?

It sounds like you have done everything right...? Did you use the "Name" paremeter in the From Room/To Room categories?

This was not checked but it did not fixed the problem when I checked it.

Silly question perhaps: Was the file upgraded to Revit 2013, from a prior release?

Yes and No. Yes that it was upgraded from 2011 Arch to 2012 Arch. But the 2011 version was bear bones exterior shell for pretty picture of an RFP propsal for the project we were going after. Once we won the project, the structural exterior concrete cast-in-placed walls and roofs were removed from the architectural model and then linked back in.
Yes this is a building for bombs.

If you click in those cells of the schedule can you select the rooms from a drop down list?

What file do the rooms live in (Live or Link)?
