Group Export Is Empty on Load - Revit 2019

I've been exporting floor plate interiors out as a group to a linked model. I has worked for most of the floors except a couple and I can't figure out why. I've been copying the floors with the models so there is a workplane to associate. But when I got into the model that was exported, the only thing there is a level named base level. The level I just exported was on level 2. What am I missing?

Any chance this job was started in 2018 and then upgraded to 2019?

no it is a 2019 B360 model. It seems like floors that have multiple split levels have the problem but I'm not sure if this is correct and if my assumption is correct, I'm not sure how to ensure there is one associated work plane for the group. If I find out more I'll keep you posted. The rest of the floors work fine.

Okay. I was only asking because ive had an issue where Groups become "empty" when exported, and it *seemed* to have to do with the model having progressed from 2018.2 to 2018.3 to 2019. Somewhere in there, the groups broke. But if i remake them in 2018 or 2019, they are fine. But if i make them in 2018.2, and upgrade the model through both versions, they are empty again.
