We got left swing doors and right swing doors and thats it for interior.
So, just to be Captain Obvious here; you do know that it's perfectly possible to mirror any door, and spoil all your pretty systems?
It takes really strict discipline to avoid this being done by mistake ( or intentionally). I hope you have your workers under control :-)

Yep Yep. Unfortunately, in Revit, the only way to properly handle Handing, is as an Instance Report, through the API or Dynamo. Things can be Mirrored, Flipped, and Mirrored-and-Flipped.

But, reporting handing was one of the first cool uses that made me want to understand Dynamo, back in the day... When Havard V made a cool video about Door Handing, and used The Phoenix Alive for the background music. LMAO.

I know it can be mirrored but at least it can't be with the spacebar or the arrows on the screen, which eliminates 90% of the problems.

So now you can say that you can all but guarantee that 90% of the work is correct... and no way of knowing which 10% is incorrect.

Easy to spot the 10% that's wrong...It's the bits that have been done by someone else!

I have been looking again at this and it's still not how i want it, the 10% needs to be eliminated.

I want people to flip/mirror/copy/rotate what they want and still get the correct pieces in a schedule.
Does any of you have an idea on how to do this the correct way?

You can REPORT it correctly AFTER the fact, through Dynamo or the API. It cannot be done without an external app or program, because you cant stop folks from mirroring like you could in AutoCAD.

I know, and i Googled for a dynamoscript and found something from archi-lab, but don't know if that's the right one to use.

If anybody has a better idea or link to a dynamoscript (dynamoplayer to make it even easier ) or a link to a forum where it is explained, that would be very nice. Got to learn Dynamo someday, better start sooner than later.

Im curious what terms you googled that didnt find a result? I just ran a quick google search, and found three posts on the first page of search results, that had actual graphs in them.

I have found these 2 links and they seem to work nice, but maybe there is a better/easier way to do it.
