    copying definetly parameters

    hello
i download sometimes families on bimobjects.com
many suppliers have huge families but with too many parameters
i can import some shared aprameters in the families, edit these paramaters with the apramaters of the suppliers (i just tell to RVT to take data from suppliers parameters)
i'd like to know if it'ss possible to write the data in my shared parameters in order to delete the suppliers parameters (tsomestimes there are 100 parameters per family, it's sueless and i want to make the family with just enough information)
    how can i do this?
    thanks
    Phil

You will need additional software to do this with any amount of efficiency. RTV Tools and CTC BIM Manager Suite both have tools for deal with parameters in families. Probably some others but off the top of my head I can't think of any It can also be done in Dynamo but I'd wager it would take a big graph and wouldn't be the most user friendly option.
