    Curtain wall corner mullion modification

Can someone tell me how to modify curtain wall corner mullion in revit 2018. It seem like there are no profile for corner mullion that you can modify. Corner mullion grey out with a check mark. See snap shot. Please help.

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
don't use the Revit OOTB corners, build your own. I use the Generic Model family template and change the category to Specialty Equipment for scheduling. I've been curtain wall detailing with Revit for going on 9 years and have found no practical purpose to use Revit's limited corner mullions. See this for an example

Dave — Have you tried a 2-level based faded family for this?

do you mean a two piece corner using a mullion profile template?? If so, yes I've tried that. Very touchy pieces and not easily scheduled. If not, please explain...

No, two-level family template... like a column so you can set the top of the mullion to a level with/without an extension and have it update with changes to the level.

    Out Of The Box

Check out a Column family for an example. You’ll want to change the Category to Generic Model.
