    Range of Values

I am working on a panel that has a min. and max length. I have been reading and following along on the previous forum posts on the same subject.

When I load the family into a project and change the length of the panel to be outside of the range allowed, it still allows the inappropriate condition.

If anyone can help me figure out what I may have done out of order, please let me know.

I have attached the formula and RFA file.

    Thanks in advance.

Drive the ref planes with your validated parameter (PWvalid), not the user input parameter (Panel Width). BTW, unless you're doing something with geometry (like graphically showing the possible extents), you shouldn't need the PWmin & PWmax ref planes to control the width.

    Such a simple fix.

Appreciate the ref plane tip. I'm still getting used to formulas. I've only ever had to use Revit "out of the box". Creating families is getting pretty fun.

    Thanks a lot
