    Post&beam

    Good afternoon dear colleagues!
    I am writing to you from Russia, which is buried in the snow!
    I am wondering if any of you experts who design in Revit wooden constructions Post & Beam.
    I myself have recently started to develop a similar Canadian technology.
    Something that turns out. Would be glad if someone shared their families in this area.
    I am particularly interested in mountings designs.

    Wow! That is really cool! I have had some people that have tried using Revit in the past for log construction here in the states but always seem to fall back to ArchiCAD, but that looks really good.

    Welcome to the forum. I just want to give you some guidelines about posting images for your next posts. When you are composing your message, please find the "Manage attachments" button; it is located in the lower portion of the page, under "Additional options". (If you don't see it, click on "Go Advanced" to find these options) From there you can use "Add Files" > "Upload files" > "Done". This will insert your images as thumbnails that spread out only when people click on them. At any time, you can do changes to your post using the Edit Post button.

    That said.
    It´s an very amazing job you´ve done there Mikle ! And welcome to the forum.
    Sharing families is always a great thing, but IMHO i´d think that the families for this kind of project, are most "one of a kind"...

    Well, I do have some wooden framing families, mainly for roofs. Whenever those goofs at imy ISP fix my connection I will try to post some.
