The job was to make their trucks, silo's and other equipment (they deliver mortars, cement and glue to building sites).
For all the stuff it was around 4 days, I think the trucks were 2 days or so.
They did supply me with 3D dwg's I could use for measurements of all the objects, so did not have to guess them.

It is actually a funny story how I came to get this job, but that's one for another time

Here is a quick conversion from Sketchup -> DWG export of faces -> import DWG(s) into RFA -> DirectShapes from the imported geometry. Can use more materials assigned. Vehicle families-2018-04-06-14_36_48-autodesk-revit-2018.2-r8.png

I'm doing it with Dynamo, but hope to convert that tech to an Addin. Vehicle families-2018-04-06-14_48_50-autodesk-revit-2018.2-r8.png

To be honest that is not native revit stuff by a long shot.
That car has way to many triangles and looks bad in all views except maybe renderings.
Maybe you can run it trough Fusion to get rid of the triangles?

RPC content works with the cloud renderer, last time I checked it didn't work in Live, but that was probably 6 months ago. I'll test and see.

That's a good looking bit of modeling. Too bad it's of such a silly car

This is a seriously good model. It looks great in all visual styles. It looks great in 2D and 3D.

Does anyone know where we can get more vehicles like this which have been modelled in Revit?

Is this produced by a company?

There are few on Revitcity that are all native Revit. Here are some families you can check out

    Ferrari - https://www.revitcity.com/downloads....bject_id=10025
    Jeep Enclosed - https://www.revitcity.com/downloads....bject_id=19685
    Jeep Open - https://www.revitcity.com/downloads....object_id=5340
    SUV - https://www.revitcity.com/downloads....object_id=5231
    Truck - https://www.revitcity.com/downloads....bject_id=16761

I am also creating my own because I can't find good enough content that are native. Unfortunately size is too big to be used as family. My delorean that I built is 100MB in size. Ouch.

The time you spend modeling a car would pay for a years subscription to the Archvision library and you'd have all the people, trees, cars, objects you could use in renderings. All work with enscape.

Perhaps but you'd be rather well skilled at building stuff by the time you were done
