I'm working on a Countertop family trying to get it to have an adjustable angle for the leg.
If I change the angle of the leg from 120 to 60, it breaks.
If I change the angle from 120 to 80 and then to 60, it works fine.
So the problem is not in the geometry of the extrusion. It CAN create the geometry correctly. It just can't do it in one big jump.
Huh? Is there anything I can change to allow a big change like that?
I suspect the error happens when the inside corner rotates above the top edge.
The leg is all hosted by a Reference Line & a bunch of other RLs based off that one.
Perhaps because the change of the angle happens first; before the calculation of the other leg. (hardto explain)
You can see how that happens if you let it break and Remove Constraints.
But, as I said it only does that if you change the angle in one big jump.

2. You hosted the extrusion to a reference line, that's why it doesn't like it. It works fine after changing the host.

3. What did you change the host to? And do you mean the Work Plane?
I see that fixed it on my simplified version, but if I change the Work Plane to Reference Level in my full-featured family, it won't let me change the angle at all.

4. I've had similar effects when my door swing exceeded 135 degrees. I was going to see if having the parameters start at 180 degrees and work backwards fixes this

Because you added the radius corners, it's better to split up the extrusion into different parts. One extrusion for the angle-adjusted portion, another for the unmoving section. The angle-adjusted portion will have its workplane hosted to one of the reference lines, the other to any other reference plane.

I reassigned it to Ref Plane Counter Top. The point is that the Reference Lines are moving when what you really want is the solid to stay in place but alter some portion of the sketch. Hosting by a static reference plane eliminates that conflicting goals of altering the angle position of the reference line and the constraints of the sketch.

I don't suppose there's any good way to make two pieces without a joint?
