Nested Family Parameter not working in Parent Family

    Hi all,
I have a window parent family that I have created with panel families nested into it. For some reason the "panel depth" parameter isnt working properly with my interior window panels. The exterior panels work fine. The panel depth parameter is in both the nested and parent family. I've tried troubleshooting this several times but with no luck. The revit family is attached. Any help/tips would be appreciated.

What exactly is it doing that tells you it's not working?

Never mind. I see what you mean. I changed Panel depth in the parent family properties and the child family still says Panel depth is the same as before.

One worked, and one didn't when I adjusted the panel depth.....I changed the one that didn't to none then back to panel depth and it worked...

That's really odd. I changed the child family so that it wasn't looking to the parent parameter and just typed in a new dimension. It worked and I saw the panel get thicker.

So i put it back to using the parent parameter. Now the depth matches what the parent parameter is. I changed the parent parameter again and once again the child didn't change.

But now change the parameter at the parent level. The child stays unchanged.

Thanks for looking at the family. I finally got it to work. There was some parameters in the child family that wasn't associated to parameters in the parent family. I linked those parameters and now it works. Thanks again!!
