L Shaped Curtain Wall from In-Place Mass Help

    Hey guys,

Am currently working on a project and having a problem.

I'm trying to create a unique curtain wall and have started off creating an L Shape. After that, I turn it into a Solid Form and I want to move the front top edge down to create a triangle. Problem is that when I do this, it always creates an unwanted diagonal edge which then will not allow me to create the curtain walls correctly. I've tried doing it by selecting the edges and moving it down, selecting all top vertices and moving them down, even in X-Ray and all the time it does the same.

Is there any way to delete the unwanted edge or another way to do it perhaps? All out of ideas .

If you are modeling this as a mass, model just surfaces. In the project you can add thickness by using wall by face. To get the surfaces modeled correctly start with locating the most primitive elements: points. Then, lines, then surfaces. That process will get to better results than modeling volumes and trying to edit those volumes, like you are doing. The unwanted edge is probably because the front faces of the L became non co-planar when you moved some vertices.
