Thread: ASD Bar Mark Customisation

Has anyone managed to customise the bar marks created in the tables in ASD?

I find them too simplied with no options to add a prefix or suffix to them. Reinforcement bars are simply assigned an ascending number from 1.

Has anyone been able to add a more complex number arrangement or even some alpha characters to the bar marks?

Never did that, but pretty sure there's an option for that, maybe by selecting and looking after right click for "modify".

Yes Julien, thanks for that. you are right, if you 'right click' and 'modify' will get you to the bar mark if you wish to manually add suffix or prefix to bar mark. However you cannot add letters or any other characters only numbers.

As an example if I wanted to create a custom code for bar mark 17, that says that it is in core 1 of level 1, I could do 1117. I can't do 1-1-17 nor L1-1-17.

I might be being a little too fussy here (please tell me if I am) but I feel having a bar mark code of 1117 is too inflexible and is going to lead to troubles.
