Good to know. I went through by floor, selected all the rooms and unchecked everything, then checked the ADA rooms. There are only a few per floor so it wasn't awful to do.
At the moment I'm just using a symbol to indicate the ADA rooms. Long term I'd like to make it a smarter process. I'll look more into paramaters once we get the intial set out to the brand and I have a little more time. Is there a summary some place of what categories are room aware? That kind of thing would be pretty useful to have around.
I think it's just Furniture, Specialty Equipment, and Plumbing... maybe others? It would be nice if they could all be room/space aware.
All variations on "Spatial Awareness" in bold. From Room and To Room are special cases, as they only apply at initial insertion, and can be manually assigned from there. And some of the Structural stuff has some understanding of Elevation, but I am not sure if this goes as far as discerning Project and Shared Elevation. But in general, things that can be IN a room are room aware, and things that can only be on one level are level aware.

Thanks!

Can I have the yes/no option correspond with a graphic in the room tag? If I insert the Room:ADA paramater into the room tag it will say either Yes or No so at least it's reading everything. Can a Yes = ADA graphic, No = nothing?
better still - is there a good tutorial someone knows of on this sort of thing? I'm currently searching for information on multi-family tags but the information is kind of haphazard.
I'd rather figure this out than detail today![]()
Cant be done in native Revit, without some sort of external command.
LABELS in Room tags read parameter data from the Room objects (yes or no), but it would take a visibility PARAMETER in the tag, to control the ADA symbol. The room data parameters dont exist in the tag, hence cannot be referenced in the visibility formula.
So you would need to do it manually, or have a function created to do it manually, and im not even sure that would work...
There is now. I took Gordon's list from below and added the information to the Revit wikihelp. This is the kind of information we are looking to add at the wiki. Thanks for inspiring someone to write it up.
