    REVIT.pat file

I am having trouble understanding / finding where the hatch patterns are located. I added a hatch pattern to my REVIT.pat but it did not show up in my project file.

I created a new .pat file for this one new hatch pattern and was able to create a new hatch in my project file by importing this new .pat file. This process did not add anything to my revit.pat file.

How do I get multiple hatches into a project file

The .pat files are located here: ( RAC 2012 )

    C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit Architecture 2012\Data

You can load a custom fill pattern here:REVIT.pat file-fill-patterns.jpg

To get multiple "patterns" you have to transfer them from another project....else you can only add them one at a time by importing them. Just adding them to the Revit.pat does not add them to the project. Personally I like to create my own and leave the revit.pat untouched.
(In case the coffee didn't kick in and I accidentally erase all the instructions and save)

The default location for the revit.pat and revit metric.pat is \Program Files\Autodesk\Revit Architecture xxxx\Data

Thanks, had not thought about "transferring" from another project.
