How to view a Navis .nwd file?

I've received several .nwd files for a new project and have no idea how to view them. I obviously don't have NW here so need some direction please.

Start by downloading the free viewer: Navisworks Freedom:

I tried to load navisworks, once, it did all sorts of things to my puter. I ended up completely factory setting it.
amazing program, but a heavy weight for space it seems.

we're talking about Freedom, the NW viewer program. I would assume that full NV would be huge. Freedom installed in a snap, no problems except that the .nwd files that I was sent are corrupt. So, back to the drawing board on Monday
